Mentorship

Mentorship is a relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. Our mentors have the proven track records at the middle and upper leadership levels to help with any project or operational need.  We can create opportunities for powerful and successful outcomes.

 

Outcomes

- Mentoring programs have the capacity to help police officers become productive quickly, learn new things, study the past and prepare for future responsibilities.

- Participants will gain experience directly from police leaders and adeptly apply successes and learnings in their own environment in real time

Executive Coaching

In the seventeenth century, the French statesman Cardinal Richelieu relied heavily on the advice of Father François Leclerc du Tremblay, known as France’s éminence grise for his grey monk’s habit. Like the famous cardinal, today’s leaders have their grey eminences. But these advisers aren’t monks bound by a vow of poverty. They’re usually called executive coaches.

- Greater insight into individual blind spots, which leads to better decisions and enhanced leadership.

- A deeper understanding of the skill difference between management and leadership creating deeper loyalty and stronger team functionality.

Harassment Complaint Resoluton

The typical harassment complaint model can take up to 18 months to come to conclusion!  This process fractures teams and robs the organization of operational effectiveness.  We use an Arb/Med hybrid model that will take the process time for harassment complaint resolution down to just one month.

- Quicker and more effective resolution of harassment issues.

- Opportunity for enhance collaboration through the inevitable and stormy waters of harassment resolution.

Mediations

Mediation is the best known conflict management intervention service provided by a Conflict Management professional.  It encourages the parties to discuss what is important to them, explore different points of view and work towards their own solutions.  This process can be used for externally for repetitive community disputes or public complaints.  Internally the process can be used to resolve issues within teams or within the management/employee paradigm.

 

Outcomes

- Individuals are able to participate in the entire process; most especially in designing the solution to the issue.  More costly and divisive processes such as complaints and grievances are minimized

- Organizational values are amplified and huge savings in emotional and fiscal resources are realized.

Team Building

If your team needs a tune-up, we're the folks that can do it.  Depending on the needs of your team we can customize a process specifically for you.  We've been building teams in some of the most trying situations.  Want to build a team in an operational setting?  Done it!  Want to build a team in an analytical environment where they have to work collaboratively in close environments?  Yup, been there.  How about a team of high performers with big egos?  No problem.
